Anorexia
Anorexia is an eating disorder characterized by an obsession with weight loss, an intense fear of gaining weight, and a distorted perception of one’s body. People with anorexia tend to drastically reduce caloric intake, leading to significant weight loss, physical weakening and health problems. This disorder can have serious physical and mental health consequences and requires multidisciplinary treatment.
