Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder in which breathing stops repeatedly during the night. The most common form is obstructive sleep apnea, in which the airway narrows or becomes blocked during sleep. This causes short awakenings to restore breathing, affecting the quality of rest. It can lead to daytime sleepiness and fatigue, and increase the risk of health problems.
