What the doctor deals with
At the San Rossore Medical Centre, Dr. Marco Anselmino not only performs outpatient surgery but also surgery for patients suffering from morbid obesity and candidates for bariatric and metabolic surgery in collaboration with the Centre for the Treatment of Eating Disorders and Metabolism directed by Dr. Giovanni Gravina.
The operations performed include both purely restrictive procedures (intragastric balloon, sleeve gastrectomy) and those with a malabsorptive component (gastric bypass on an all-Roux loop or single anastomosis, duodenal switch, SADI) and are all performed minimally invasively laparoscopically using the most modern technology, guaranteeing the patient a rapid as well as high-quality procedure.
