Academic Education
- In 1985 he graduated with top marks in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa.
- In 1986, he qualified as a medical surgeon at the University of Pisa.
- In 1991, he specialised with top marks at the School of Thoracic Surgery.
Professional Training
- He has been involved in ultrasound since 1985, and was head of the ultrasound clinic at the Pisa Surgical Clinic.
- He has taught and continues to teach courses in Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound sponsored by the SIUMB and the Region of Tuscany.
- From 1989-90 to 1996-97, he lectured on ultrasound in thoracic and abdominal pathology at the Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound Course sponsored by the Region of Tuscany and organised annually by the Pisa USL in collaboration with the Institute of Clinical Surgery at the University of Pisa.
- In 2000 he became Hospital Manager
What the doctor deals with
Since 2000, Dr Adamo has been dealing with pathologies related to surgery with minimally invasive approach such as laparoscopic approach for abdominal pathologies, thoracoscopic approach for thoracic pathologies, use of endovascular laser for lower limb varices, haemorrhoidectomy with THD method for haemorrhoids.

He is the author of numerous articles published in Italian and foreign journals.

- Nel 1998 si laurea con lode in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l’Università di Pisa.
- Nel 2004 si specializza con lode in Radiodiagnostica.
- Nel 2018 ha conseguito il Master di II Livello in Radiologia Interventistica Vascolare Extraneuro presso l’Università di Pisa.
Formazione professionale
Ha maturato un’esperienza ventennale nella diagnostica per immagini in campo Ecografico, Ecocolordoppler e TC. Si occupa di interventistica radiologica mininvasiva per patologia muscoloscheletrica, patologia epato-biliare, patologia vascolare, patologia oncologica, disfunzione erettile, biopsie eco-RX e TC-guidate a livello degli organi addominali, tessuti molli ed apparato muscolo-scheletrico.

- È Professore a contratto presso l’Università di
- È Docente del Master Universitario di II Livello di Radiologia Interventistica Endovascolare Extraneuro.
Di cosa si occupa
Effettua procedure sia di tipo angiografico che eco-guidato o TC-guidato.
Nella sua carriera di Radiologo Interventista ha eseguito oltre 10.000 procedure interventistiche da primo operatore ed ha eseguito più di 60.000 esami diagnostici (Ecografie, Ecocolordoppler, TC ed RX).
