Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Multiple Sclerosis

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a neurodegenerative disease that affects motor neurons, leading to loss of muscle control and progressive muscle weakness and atrophy. Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the myelin sheath of nerves, causing communication problems between the brain and the body. Both conditions can have different symptoms and varying severity, but have no definitive cures and require symptom management and supportive therapies.
