Anemia

Anemia is a condition in which the body has a low number of red blood cells or an insufficient amount of hemoglobin. This can lead to a reduced ability of the blood to carry oxygen to tissues, causing fatigue, weakness and pallor. Causes include nutritional deficiencies (such as iron, vitamin B12, folic acid) and chronic diseases.
