Lymphedema is an accumulation of lymphatic fluid caused by insufficient drainage through the lymphatic system. Lower limb edema is swelling caused by fluid accumulation in the legs and feet, often related to circulatory problems, heart failure or kidney problems. Both conditions require careful medical evaluation.
