Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland produces excessive amounts of thyroid hormones. It can be caused by thyroid overactivity (Graves’ disease, thyroid nodules) or other conditions. Symptoms include weight loss, nervousness, palpitations, sweating and tremors.
