Academic Education
- He graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa.
- He specialised first in General Surgery and then in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery with top marks.
Professional Training
- During his professional training he had numerous work experiences in cosmetic surgery abroad: Ljubljana, Cologne, Paris, Vienna, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, New York.
- Until 2000, he worked as an Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon at the Surgical Clinic of the University of Pisa.
- He was the Head of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the San Camillo Clinic in Forte dei Marmi.
- Since 1992 he has been practising as a Specialist in Aesthetic Surgery at the San Rossore Medical Centre in Pisa.

He has performed over 13,000 surgical procedures in the field of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the breast, face and body, and over 15,000 non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures.
He participates in the most prestigious and important national and international congresses and is often called upon as a lecturer in refresher courses on innovative techniques in the field of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.
