Acne

Acne is a common skin condition characterized by inflammation of hair follicles due to overproduction of sebum. This can lead to blackheads, pimples and cysts on the skin, located mainly on the face, shoulders and back. Acne is often caused by hormonal imbalances and occurs mainly during adolescence, but may persist into adulthood.
