Breast secretion

Mammary secretion is the release of fluid from the nipples, which can occur for various reasons. During pregnancy and lactation it is normal. Outside these periods, abnormal secretion may be caused by hormonal imbalances, pituitary gland tumors, thyroid disorders or medication. If abnormal discharge occurs, it is important to undergo medical evaluation to determine the cause.
