Bulimia
Bulimia is an eating disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of binge eating and “purging” behaviors, such as self-induced vomiting or excessive use of laxatives. People with bulimia often experience a sense of loss of control during binges and are overly concerned about their weight and body image. This condition can have serious impacts on physical and mental health and requires specialized, multidisciplinary treatment.
