Gastro-oesophageal reflux

Gastro-oesophageal reflux is a condition in which stomach contents back up into the esophagus due to malfunction of the cardia, the valve that separates the stomach from the esophagus. This can cause heartburn, acid regurgitation, chest pain and irritation of the esophagus.
