Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland produces insufficient amounts of thyroid hormones. It can result from causes such as autoimmune inflammation (Hashimoto’s thyroiditis) or surgical removal of the thyroid. Symptoms include fatigue, weight gain, dry skin, bradycardia and concentration problems.
