Lymphadenopathy

Lymphadenopathy is an enlargement of lymph nodes, small glands in the lymphatic system. It can be caused by infections, autoimmune diseases, allergic reactions or, in some cases, neoplasms such as lymphoma. Enlarged lymph nodes may be painful or cause no symptoms and may require further medical evaluation to determine the underlying cause.
