Ménière’s syndrome is an inner ear disorder that causes sudden episodes of intense dizziness, tinnitus (ringing or ringing in the ears), sensation of ear pressure, and hearing loss. The exact cause is unknown, but it may be related to fluid problems in the inner ear.
